What exactly is food fragrance?

Food fragrance is a sprayable garnish for finished dishes – a fine mist of culinary essential oils containing herbs, citrus and spice, designed to add flavour and aroma just before eating.

Can I eat it and when do I use it? 

Yes! Fin. is made for food, and uses organic MCT oil to carry culinary essential oils. It is designed to be spritzed over finished dishes – a little or a lot. 

Is it a perfume?

No, it's not a perfume. Fin. is made for food. It uses culinary essential oils in organic MCT oil and is designed to be spritzed over finished dishes just before eating.

How much should I use?

Our suggested serving size is three sprays over a finished dish, approximately 0.45ml of Fin. with 3.6 kcals per serve. You can add as many sprays as you desire to increase aroma and flavour. If you want to experiment with a new dish, do a small spray over a single bite to try. 

Does it need to be refrigerated?

No. Store Fin. in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

How long does one bottle last?

A little goes a long way. Each bottle is designed to finish hundreds of dishes, depending on how many sprays you use. It should last you 3-6 months. 

Can I cook/marinade with it?

Fin. is made for finished dishes not marinating. For best results, spritz after cooking or plating so the aromatics stay fresh.

Are the essential oils food safe? 

Yes. The essential oils used in Fin. are selected for food and beverage use and comply with Food Standards Australia New Zealand labelling requirements.
